Unstoppable

Updated: Jul 15

There is a unique gift that God has given to His children. Once you embrace and receive this gift you become unstoppable. It does not matter what problem comes your way or how much financial lack you have, this gift makes you unstoppable. Even all the demons in hell cannot stop you. What is that gift? It's called vision!

Before we can do great works with God, He must do a great work inside us first. Only when God works in us can we work out His purpose.  Philippians 2:12-13…, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

We are all created by God to have vision in our life. What is a vision? A vision is like blueprints for a house. It’s impossible to build a house without it. If we built a house without blueprints it would only be a small and weak house. Without a plan nothing mighty can be built.

The purpose of blueprints is to give clarity and direction to the carpenters, electricians and plumbers what needs to be done. Blueprints have the ability to delegate people according to their talent. Because people are operating in their skill there is a unity of working together until the house gets completed.

Likewise we can have a blueprint (vision) in our personal life, family, ministry and finances!  You might be thinking, “Presley I don’t have a vision in these areas of my life”. It’s ok at least you realize it and can take the next step to obtain it. Maybe you have a vision but only a little. That is ok because a small seed grows into a big tree. Some may have a great vision already. If this is so It's time to expand it and go further with it than you ever imagined.

Focus Produces Success

Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish:

The word perish means no restraint. If we have no restraint we will be constantly distracted and scattered going into unpredictable directions with our life. Focus gives us the restraint we need to overcome distraction. It’s like digging a well to find water. It takes time and focus to dig deep enough to strike water. Without focus we will give up and keep starting new wells to find water. Eventually we end up with many shallow wells that do not produce water. Sometimes the solution is not digging more wells but just digging deeper into a few we can focus on.

It’s not how many things we do in life that creates success but it’s going deeper in the few things we are focused on.

Distraction keeps us busy doing things that are shallow with no depth. Distraction is the enemy of vision.

Problems are always pulling and distracting us but vision is the solution to anchor us and keep us focused. Imagine going to the grocery store but the driver in the vehicle gets distracted and keeps turning at every street corner. This would be chaotic. So much time would be wasted because the driver has no direction. The driver did a lot of work but there were no results of arriving at the destination.

Vision gives us the results we are desiring for. If we want to be successful in life, family, ministry and finances we must have a great vision!

Your Vision Is Waiting For You

The first thing we need to realize is that our Father God never holds good things from His children. Psalms 84:11…No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

The good news is If you believe in Jesus you are walking upright! Your vision is a gift from God received by faith. If our Father in heaven sacrificed everything on the cross for His children how much more He is willing to give you a vision. Do you believe this?

One of the ways we cancel the vision in our life is coming under a slave mentality. Under a slave mentality, vision does not matter that much. They cannot create, expand or build. A slave can do a lot of hard work but they cannot do heart work, work full of heart and passion. We need an unstoppable vision that will set us on fire and give us passion! Vision creates the motivation and excitement to do great things. Daniel 11:32…but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

Let’s come out of a slave mentality and walk in our true identity as a child of God!

Your Life Is About To Change

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

In this verse God said, “I know” the plans I have for you”. The first thing we need to understand about God's vision and plan for our life is that God only knows it. Our friends or family do not know about it. Also our pastor does not know it. Only God knows it.

The second thing we need to know is that His plans are for us not against us! Not only God knows our plans He also wants us to know them and reveal them to us 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

Many times we think God's vision or plans are for others but not for us. It does not matter where we are born or how rich or poor we are. God has a plan for every child of God and wants to reveal them to us.

Not only God wants to reveal His plans to us He also wants to declare His plans to us. Declare means to prophesy. His vision and plans for our life are not just ordinary or common but prophetic! This means it will surely come to pass, it’s unstoppable!

Once we have received and believed His plans for our life the next thing starts to happen. In Jeremiah 29:11 it says,  “His plan is to prosper us”. We go from knowing His plan for our life to experiencing His plans in our life!

The word prosper has a very powerful meaning. It means peace, health, favor, happiness, whole, rest, financial prosperity, safety and completeness. Wow! Jesus did not leave anything out of our redemption on the cross. Since Jesus paid for all these promises they belong to us.

Not only we can know and experience His plans we can also know that His plans are never to harm us. The devils plans produce death but God's plans produce life. John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

It’s important to know that God's plan will not harm us. One of the dangers of voiding the plan of God is when we believe it is God who harms us, not the devil. The reason many believe this is because of a wrong perspective of God's sovereignty. The sovereignty of God is not Him operating as a puppet master controlling everything. God is not a controlling dictator. He has given all His creation freedom. It’s not God allowing bad things to happen but us that allows bad things to happen. God gave man dominion over the earth but we did not manage it well.  God's sovereignty never violates His character. His sovereignty gives freedom to His creation not control over His creation.

Just as an earthly father has no plan to do his child harm, how much more our Father in heaven. Luke 11:13 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

One of the most exciting things about God's plan for us is He gives us a future. The vision that is built in us now is what will come to pass in the future. We are not designed to fade out or die out. We are designed to expand, increase, and go to new levels as we get older.

In the natural world we live our life at our peak when we are young, then we grow old, slow down, retire and die. Because we are in Christ this does not have to happen. There is no age, death or fading away in Christ. John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

As we get older we get younger. Our body may age but not our spirit. 2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

As we live longer we get wiser, increase in joy, peace and strength. God's purpose and plans for our lives always increase and never decrease. There is no retirement in the kingdom of God because Gods plan is too exciting.

Notice in the last part of the verse in Jeremiah 29:11 it mentions, “to give us hope”. The word hope is to expect it. We do not have doubt about our vision but expectation. What this means is nothing can move us or change our mind. When a married couple is pregnant they are prepared for their baby. They have expectations so they begin to change and adjust their life for the baby's birth. When the baby is born there is great joy because their vision has now come.

The Most Important Vision

The first vision we need is for our personal life. It’s the one vision that all of our other visions are built on. The greatest vision for our life is to know God as your Father. Everything is founded on this. 1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Our personal life is like roots that have grown deep into the ground. All great trees have great roots. Nobody sees the roots but it’s the most important part of the tree. It holds the tree and nourishes the tree. Likewise our personal relationship with our Father God is like roots. Some of the greatest experiences in our life are time alone with Him. We can observe Jesus doing this many times. Matthew 14:23 And after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone,

It does not matter how much effort we put into our family, ministry and financial success without knowing God everything collapses. Mark 8:36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?

Once we establish this foundation all of our other visions will have a solid foundation we can start to build on.

God Has Big Plans For Your Family

Not only a foundation is important but also a house for the foundation to be built on. Even if we have the greatest foundation, if there is no house it’s incomplete. We must complete both the foundation and house. Likewise we must have a relationship with our Father and a vision for our family.

Hannah in the Bible had a vision. She could not have children and asked God for a child. The Lord answered her prayer and Hannah had a son. This child grew up to be one of the greatest prophets of all time called Samuel.

We never know how great the plans that God has for our children. Keep in mind children have their own vision, the parents job is to bring it out of them. Psalms 127:3-5 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!

Never cancel your children’s vision by forcing them do your vision. Allow them to do what God has designed them to do. If they have a desire to be in the ministry, support it. If they have a desire to start a business and use the business for God, support it. As parents we must be like charcoal to their fire not water. When we control our children they will only rebel and leave us. We must trust our Father in heaven with our children. One of the greatest gifts we can give to our children are parents who know Jesus. When you establish vision in your family it’s unstoppable what God will do.

Something Amazing Is Coming To Your Ministry

What is our vision in ministry? If we do not have a vision what are the desires of our heart? Our Father has placed in us His DNA. We are built and created to walk in God's plan for our life. DNA means blueprint. There is a blueprint inside of us. It’s time to let it out. What is our passion ? What do we want to do? That is a good place to start.

Maybe you can know your vision to a degree even though it’s not clear. Begin to cling to that small degree you do know. Talk to our Father in heaven about it and new ideas will start to unfold. Eventually it will take root and grow then it will manifest. If your vision is already big, do not stop or slow down. Daddy God wants to do much more and expand your vision.

When our vision becomes clear, people will begin to join it. One reason why people do not support and follow certain leaders is because of a lack of clarity with their vision. People want to follow people that know where they are going.

Imagine driving to a beach but to get there we must follow the person driving there. Unfortunately half way through our trip we find out that the person who we were following had no directions to arrive there. Would we continue to follow that person? No, we would go back to our house. Likewise it’s impossible to be a leader without a vision. It’s impossible to lead effectively without a vision because the sheep will be scattered.

Many pastors and leaders of churches are frustrated because of a lack of support. They find it difficult to motivate people and financially support the ministry. But the reality is people are not motivated by the needs of the church such as bills, rent and monthly mortgages. They are motivated by the vision of the church. The most unstoppable way of motivating people is vision.

A New Vision In Finances

Not only God gives us a vision for our lives, family and ministry but also finances. Let’s not limit God to what He can do. We do not have to spend all our time worrying about money and getting upset because people are not helping or giving money to us. God is ready to fill His children with business ideas and open up doors of opportunities.

The key to creating wealth is to solve problems. Because of the world we live in, problems are in abundance. Let’s not become the problem but become the problem solver!

One way you can get almost any job you want is to approach the owner and mention, you will work for free for two weeks. But at the end of the two weeks if you can’t make them more money than it cost them to hire you, you will fire yourself.

If you want a raise or promotion at your workplace try this approach. Go to the owner and ask for the opportunity to solve problems that no one else wants to solve. After the owner gives you these problems, do what it takes to solve them.

Proverbs 21:5 The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty,…

Without being diligent we can’t have plenty.  Without vision we cannot be diligent. Diligence is like chopping down a tree with an ax. In order to cut down a tree there must be persistent. The process of chopping can be boring because we are doing the same thing over and over but eventually the tree will fall.

The solution for our financial problems is not more money but more vision. All who struggle in finances also struggle with a lack of vision. Having a vision is a part of how to prosper our soul. 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

We all want more money but we need more vision first. The poverty mindset wants money without the process of having a plan or vision. God has given His children the power to create wealth. Deuteronomy 8:18 “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
